I developed a love for floral design while leading the Botanical design category for Pottery Barn. It seemed like a natural segue into a creative space that is in absolute alignment with my personality. The fragrance, fragility and beauty of flowers has me enchanted. There is something therapeutic about building arrangements and I feel like I am in my element when I'm doing so. Each one is different, each one is hand made and with such a beautiful medium, it is hard to go wrong.
My background in interior design and home styling helps me think through the bigger picture when creating my arrangements. I view my floral arrangements as a decorative part of a larger space and work through details of color palette, ideal vessel, size and drama just as I would when deigning a home.
